"Solastalgia is experienced when the endemic sense of place is violated."
"It attacks the sense of place, manifests in the erosion of the sense of belonging to a specific place (identification with it), and the suffering (feeling of melancholy) due to its transformation."
Glenn Albrecht, philosopher

Vydykh
for violin, piano and electronics

Vydukh in Ukrainian language means "Exhale". This is the state I would like to feel after the war. But now we all live on the state of inhale. And inside there is already so much air and tension that each time when we grab more, it becomes more and more painful. There is no exhalation. It does not exist yet. Until the war is over. And even then, we will not be able to exhale completely, because of the memory that we will carry forever.
for bass flute, bass clarinet, percussion, e-guitar, cello, dbass, electronics, dancer and light

By blending ancient and modern elements, traditional and technological aspects, we can forge new expressions and deepen our understanding of ourselves and the world. Duality, the interplay of opposing forces or ideas, is fundamental.
Butoh dance delves into the human psyche and body, transcending language and rational thought. It connects us with something primal. Technology, in contrast, extends our control over the world, allowing us to interact innovatively.
Despite seeming incompatible, Butoh and technology create a potent synthesis. Butoh embodies raw emotion, physicality, and the present moment, while technology emphasizes rationality, abstraction, and data manipulation. Together, they surpass individual limitations.
